The PRIDE Institute offers new youth programming!
District 202 is proud to announce that the Pride Institute is a partner with us in our Rise Again! kickoff event!
The PRIDE Institute was founded in 1986 and has over 10,000 graduates, PRIDE Institute is the nation’s first and leading provider of in-patient and out-patient programs devoted exclusively to treating the mental health and chemical dependency needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. The PRIDE Institute specializes in the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction, sex addiction, depression, anxiety and HIV/AIDS-related stress and grief. Many of their clients are dealing with a combination of addiction, depression, anxiety and/or HIV/AIDS. Because they focus on GLBT health participants will be one in a group of like-minded people. Being LGBT is the norm at PRIDE Institute, not the exception. Their highly trained and skilled staff understands the issues and teaches you how to live a happy, healthy life as a proud LGBT person.
New Youth Programming at The PRIDE Institute
Do you have a friend that you worry may be abusing drugs or alcohol? Help your friends get substance abuse treatment in a place they can be themselves.
The PRIDE Institutes LGBTQ Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to help Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer or Questioning adolescents learn the tools of recovery through a combination of group therapy, education, and individual therapy.
The IOP Adolescent Program meets 10 hours a week plus one hour of individual therapy.
Clients must identify as LGBTQ and be between the ages of 14-19.
