If you haven’t heard, a group of Twin Cities foundations have teamed up to do some wonderful today. They formed GiveMN and are covering the costs of online giving and matching half of it.
Namely, District 202 would receive 150% of your donation through 8AM tomorrow.
Any gift, small or large, qualifies. Any gift, small or large, would help support the work of District 202. Any gift, small or large, would impact the lives of local LGBT youth.
Here’s how you can make a difference:
$7.50 (matched to $10) would cover the cost one class session for a youth to gain life-skills, express themsleves artistically or participate in other programs.
$20 ($30) would send that youth through half of a six week program; $45 with their match would cover the whole session.
$100 (matched to $150) would offer a scholarship to our new LGBT camp this summer, and $350, when matched, would send a homeless LGBT youth to Camp Heartland for a week.
Through our community partnerships with OneHeartland and others, your financial gift of any size to District 202 goes further to positively impact the lives and empower LBGT youth throughout the Twin Cities.
