When visionary leaders founded District 202 in 1992, many people doubted it could succeed. It has. Even in the last few months, we have received requests from LGBT youth-supporting programs around the country that are just beginning and want to build on the success they see in District 202. The center continues to receive requests for District 202 Youth Speakers, who share their stories and encourage audiences to help create a hate-free community beyond District 202.

Strong community support means so much. Thanks to support from individuals like you:
* LGBT Youth know they are cared about;
* Private and corporate foundations are more likely to add their support;
* 30% of District 202's annual expenses are paid by community support.

To host a party at your home -- or at a local restaurant -- email Laura Ayers, Executive Director, l.ayers@dist202.org. The event committee will answer all your questions and help you with details.
Employer matching funds are a great way to extend your financial support to District 202. Simply send a gift match form with your check and we will complete it and return it. You can also make a contribution through your workplace giving campaign -- just ask your campaign how to designate District 202. We are a Community Solutions Fund member.
